About The Author

T. G. Baker is the girl who practices enlightening dining. Born in a small province in Thailand, Tasha G. Baker never knew a time when she wasn’t an employee. Raised by her grandparents, Tasha worked for the family business, a small general store located downstairs from where she and her family lived.

Tasha attended Ramkhamhaeng University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in communication. She visited the US in 2006 and began seeking the American dream. After struggling through language school to learn English, Tasha began working as a Las Vegas waitress in 2007. Now a naturalized citizen, whenever Tasha is not working as a waitress, she is serving up delicious works of art. Her passion for baking, cake decorating, and dessert making is insatiable. Her Thai cooking is also second to none. Working tirelessly toward a goal to open a café, she nearly achieved that dream when the coronavirus hit. She continues to gain a great sense of satisfaction from baking and perfecting her philosophies on customer service. Her reward for dedicating so much time to these passions is witnessing the joy it brings to family, friends, and customers.

Tasha has procured a deep understanding of today’s pop culture and the influences imposed by media messaging through technological cultivation. From her personal experiences, she has developed a keen philosophy and practice in her temporary roles as a food server, customer, and fellow citizen. Tasha is known for her warm and genuine nature, as well as her generosity. It has even been said that her smile can lighten any customer’s dark mood. Tasha’s motto and trademark is “Make life a piece of cake.”
